A very vigorous variety that can be used on low or high fertility soils, with a minimal risk of lodging. Suitable for use on light to medium soils. Produces a very high proportion of medium sized buttons. Excellent flavour.
Sow seeds between March - April. Start seeds indoors or direct sow thinly into a well prepared seed bed 1cm (1/2") deep in drills 30cm (12 inches) apart and cover seeds with fine soil. Keep soil moist during germination.

Germinates at 10 - 25°C.
Thin out seedlings to 10cm (4 inches) apart when large enough to handle, then later transplant to final site (Brussels sprouts grow best in a sunny location with a rich well drained compacted soil) allowing 75cm x 75cm (30 x 30 inches) between plants. Water well until plants are established.
